San Diego Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR): Why you should hire an ABR

When you hire me to represent you on your San Diego home purchase, you are hiring an Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR). Buying a home may be the largest and most complex financial transaction you ever undertake. If you're ready to buy a home, wouldn't you prefer to work with the most qualified real estate professional you can find? An Accredited Buyer's Representative stands out from the crowd. When an agent holds the ABR® designation, you can trust that they have the extra edge when it comes to knowledge and experience. Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR) is a special designation that is awarded to real estate brokers who have completed two all-day professional training courses offered by the Real Estate Buyer's Agent Council (REBAC) that deal specifically with representing buyers. Before earning the Accredited Buyer's Representative designation, a buyer's agent must also demonstrate proven experience in representing buyers. The main reason I took these courses was to get a stronger edge in understanding a buyer's perspective and protecting and promoting the buyer's interests.

I will say that it's one thing to attend a class, and it's another thing altogether to implement what you learn into your systems and business practices. I have implemented many of the ideas I've learned from the Accredited Buyer's Representative courses to truly transform the way I represent my home buyer clients. As an ABR®, you can expect me to:

  • Understand your specific needs and wants, and locate appropriate properties
  • Assist you in determining how much you can afford (pre-qualify your mortgage)
  • Preview and accompany you in viewing properties
  • Advise you in formulating your offer
  • Help you develop your negotiating strategy
  • Provide a list of qualified vendors (inspectors, contractors, lenders, etc.) for other services you may need
  • Keep track of every detail throughout the transaction - to closing and beyond

Not all San Diego buyer agents are equal. Only a buyer's agent who has earned the Accredited Buyer's Representative designation has made the extra effort to raise the bar, with additional training and experience. If you work with an ABR®, you can feel confident that you'll receive the highest level of buyer representation services. If you would like more information about the Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR) designation, please feel free to contact me directly. Justin Gramm is the founder and principal broker of Globella Buyers Realty, your San Diego Exclusive Buyer Brokerage.

Exclusive Buyer Agents do not list homes for sale and never represent sellers. They have no "inventory" to try to sell you. They can represent you in purchasing any home. They are specialists at representing buyers only on the buyers' side of the transaction. Exclusive Buyer Agents work to get buyers the best price and terms when they buy a home.

If you have excellent credit and plan to buy a home or condo in San Diego County within 90 days, contact Justin Gramm to hire an agent on your side of the transaction. More about Justin Gramm on . Call Justin at (858) 437-2662 or  E-mail.
