If you're looking for a quaint restaurant to have a quiet, romantic dinner, do NOT go to Corvette Diner!
However, if you just want to have some good old-fashioned fun, you must head over to Corvette Diner in Point Loma.
Corvette Diner's actresses (I mean, "servers") all look and act the part (think "50's diner" in its hay-day). You will often see your server join in some sort of dance, song, or parade around the restaurant. If you're feeling goofy, you can join in, too!

Complete with an arcade (can anyone say, "Skee-Ball"?), a dee-jay, and multiple theme rooms, this is a fun place. I suggest you go early and play a bit in the arcade. Next, you have to order a shake or malt with your meal. The burgers are great (try the Rory Burger with peanut butter), but there's a lot more to choose from on their large menu (including meat loaf).
Corvette Diner is a great place to take children. It's so loud, you don't even notice the kids bouncing around. I hope I've given you a good idea of what to expect when you go to Corvette Diner. You should give it a try. You won't be let down.
