You could also go whale watching, kayaking, snorkeling, see the sea lions in La Jolla, fishing off a pier, etc., etc. Of course, you can always drive a couple hours to Disneyland or Knotts Berry Farm, but why do that when you have so many great options right here in San Diego County?
