It is not required by law that you attend your professional property inspection (and it's also not required that you even perform an inspection), but you'd be crazy not to be there!!! It's one thing to get a report from the inspector, and it's another thing to be there with the inspector to talk and ask questions about your home. Typically, a professional home inspector will notice things about your home that you have never noticed before or never thought of. Not only will you learn about things that are potentially wrong with the house, you will also learn a lot about how to maintain the home and its systems.
I've found that property inspectors are a wealth of information, and I strongly believe that missing your home inspection is a big mistake, so I encourage all my clients to make it a point to be there for their inspection. In some random cases, it may be impossible for you to attend the inspection, but even in those cases there is usually someone very close to you (a trusted friend or family member) who can be there for you in your absence.

Exclusive Buyer Agents do not list homes for sale and never represent sellers. They have no "inventory" to try to sell you. They can represent you in purchasing any home. They are specialists at representing buyers only on the buyers' side of the transaction. Exclusive Buyer Agents work to get buyers the best price and terms when they buy a home.
