I helped Ken and Cindy buy an investment property in La Mesa. They were open to a few areas in San Diego and La Mesa, and we found them the perfect place, a duplex with a nice yard and two great tenants just a few blocks from downtown La Mesa. The problem that Ken and Cindy encountered during their transaction was an unexpected loan-denial from their lender, who they had already worked with to obtain loans in the past. Ken and Cindy still wanted to buy the home, and the denial was in everyone else's eyes an underwriting/loan officer communication error. I referred them to a local loan officer who several of my clients have used and have been happy with. He was able to get Ken and Cindy their loan without any funny business.
