Mira Mesa San Diego Exclusive Buyer's Agent - Review from Justin B.What can we say about Justin Gramm? The real question is: What can’t we say about him? Justin is both a strong starter and strong finisher. From the very first day of meeting him I knew my wife and I had found our agent. We found him by searching for “Exclusive Buyer Agents” on Google. A few names popped up, but Justin was the first and only one that we called. This was our first home purchase, so we were both very apprehensive and a little bit scared, and Justin never said to stop worrying about it, he said just be who you are and let me be who I am, your agent. It was amazing, his logic and philosophy in life was a rare and refreshing thing to see outside of a movie.

I would really like to elaborate on his character a bit more if I may. One thing that really stuck with me and, in fact, changed my whole outlook on professional integrity was that Justin never kept the ins and outs of being a realtor hidden from us. He would frequently tell us what a respectable agent should and should not be doing, and never did he let himself bend those guidelines. I remember one day when we had just finished looking at a home and we ran into another group with a realtor that was making their way to the front door. What happened next was quite an eye opener and made me realize how difficult it really is to be a person of integrity. The other realtor had asked him to leave the door open since their group was ready to go inside. But Justin very kindly reminded her of the proper procedure for exiting a house tour; to always put the key back in the digital lockbox so responsibility for the seller’s home is transferred safely. The other agent was taken aback for a moment, but regained her composure and continued on to unlock the lockbox all the while never explaining to her clients what that conversation was all about. I was impressed by Justin’s professionalism and how he handled the situation.

He continued to inspire us as time moved on. My wife and I had put a few offers on some other homes already, but we were outbid on all of them. The market was absolutely crazy, which Justin made us aware of at the start. Even when we started losing hope that we would never find a house as “perfect” as the last one, Justin reassured us that he will not let us buy a house that we did not completely love and could afford. So, after another month we put a ‘Hail-Mary’ of an offer on a house that we simply thought the sellers would never accept due to our low offer and the high quality of the house. So what did our agent do? He wrote a Master’s thesis quality letter to the seller’s agent detailing our lives and personalities and how overwhelmingly in love with the house we were feeling while at the same time were terrified and upset about not being able to put in a stronger offer since we were at our max. We buttered up the bid by offering the sellers the ability to stay in their home for another two months after closing at a reduced rate. We added this because Justin took the time to research into what the seller’s situation was and what they were looking for. Long story short, because of his personal attention to detail, we got the house of our dreams and all under our tight budget in this crazy market.

Lastly, on the day of the house closing escrow, Justin gave us a housewarming gift! We were so pleasantly surprised. In short, my wife and I love this guy, and we are a little disappointed that we can only buy one house at a time with him. But one thing we do know for certain, we will never have a different agent so long as Justin will have us. Thank you, Justin Gramm!
