School districts are the most common beneficiaries of Mello-Roos taxes in San Diego County. Mello-Roos makes it possible for local governments to acquire timely financing for school districts (and other community facilities) in the wake of state funds being unavailable since 1978. Mello-Roos can also provide funds for other important community needs such as constructing and maintaining public roads, traffic lights, water mains, storm sewers, police and fire stations, ambulance services, museums, public libraries, and even recreational parks. Not every home owner pays Mello-Roos taxes, but many of the newer areas in San Diego County do have these taxes on top of regular property taxes.

Exclusive Buyer Agents do not list homes for sale and never represent sellers. They have no "inventory" to try to sell you. They can represent you in purchasing any home. They are specialists at representing buyers only on the buyers' side of the transaction. Exclusive Buyer Agents work to get buyers the best price and terms when they buy a home.
